B.Sc.: Microbiology, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata

I'm currently pursuing Integrated PhD in the Division Of Biological Sciences, IISc, Bangalore. I completed my graduation in Microbiology from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous) Kolkata. I am interested in RNA Interference, Epigenetics and Chromatin Remodeling. I have been working on optimizing assays to detect microRNA dynamics in host-pathogen interactions in Toxoplasma infections. Furthermore, I hope to explore Transcriptional Regulation in Toxoplasma life cycle and its effect on small RNA Pathways.
Together with science, I enjoy music, theatre, books and badminton.
